A pet peeve of mine is fitness trainers overusing training tips. A big one that I’ve found is when they tell you to, “Pull Your Shoulders Down.” Although it is good advice, because of all the sitting and typing we do these days, you don’t want it to run your life. You don’t want your body to forget where your shoulders feel natural and loose. If you spend your whole life forcing your shoulders down, you are losing the benefits of balance. Finding the middle path of not too high (like while typing) or too low.
